Sunni L. Goodson is an interior designer known for blending refined modern aesthetics with the layered narratives of historic architecture — crafting homes as distinctive as the stories they hold.

Her path began at UNC Chapel Hill and led to a Master’s in the Conservation of Historic Buildings from the University of Bath in England, where her thesis explored the adaptive reuse of Charleston’s iconic Single House form...​

After more than a decade living and working in Dublin, Ireland, Sunni earned Irish citizenship and honed a globally informed perspective through her work with two Grade I preservation architecture firms and formal training at the Dublin Institute of Design. There, she balanced roles as interior designer and preservation specialist —cultivating a cosmopolitan sensibility grounded by her Southern roots.

Since returning to North Carolina, Sunni has expanded her practice to serve clients globally and co-founded Studio336 Interiors in Winston-Salem’s historic West End. With over fourteen years of experience spanning heritage and contemporary projects, she brings clarity, creativity, and confidence to every collaboration, helping clients create deeply personal, enduring homes.
